Nov 12 @ 19:00 – 22:30

Britain`s biggest reggae band of all time, UB40, will be performing classic hits and gems from their seminal albums` Labour Of Love Parts I and II. Two of the band`s most successful and defining albums, “Labour Of Love Parts I + II” between them include eight UK Top 20 Singles, including “Red, Red Wine”, “Kingston Town” and “The Way You Do The Things You Do.

Ali Campbell said “We`ve had an outstanding couple of years on this world tour, what a way to finish it in South Africa, come and party with us!”

Since reforming in 2013, the trio of Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue have remained at the top of their game, with highlights including their 2014 World tour, a huge show in Las Vegas, and critical acclaim for their new material in 2014`s “Silhouette”.

Having embarked on their current world tour the three-piece`s step up to even larger venues is a testament to the longevity of their songs, as well as UB40`s status as Britain`s most successful Reggae band of all time, a true music pioneer since 1979.

The seventh annual Santa Run will take place on 20 November.

The Santa Run is a bikers’ initiative to collect toys, blankets, stationary and other relevant items for under-privileged children such as orphans, the disabled and the abused.

The Santa Run will take place at Cecil Payne Stadium in Maraisburg and 4 000 people are expected to attend. The bikers, and anyone else who wants to support the initiative, will bring their toys, which will be distributed to various homes to ensure these children receive a gift for Christmas.

The Lumineers @ Ticketpro Dome, Northgate Shopping Centre
Apr 28 @ 19:30 – 23:00

It took four years for The Lumineers to follow up their platinum-plus, self-titled debut – which spent 46 weeks on The Billboard 200 and peaked at number 2 – but Cleopatra is well worth the wait.

The band`s self-titled debut album sold 3 million copies worldwide and earned them 2 Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Americana Album. The first single “Ho Hey” spent 62 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and it`s follow up, “Stubborn Love” climbed to #1 on the Alternative radio charts and was also featured on President Obama`s Summer Playlist.

Continuing the success story from their two-time Grammy nominated, platinum-selling debut in 2012, The Lumineers` Cleopatra has been an international hit album – not only achieving No.1 status in the UK, U.S & Canada Official Charts, but also charting at the top of the Billboard Top 200.

Their second album Cleopatra proved Schultz and Fraites – along with cellist/vocalist Neyla Pekarek – are neither taking their good fortune for granted, nor sitting back on their laurels. With the help of producer Simone Felice (The Felice Brothers, The Avett Brothers) the band ensconced themselves in a recording in Clubhouse, a recording studio high atop a hill in rural Rhinebeck, N.Y. Influences for the album include Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. The band added “The record is our greatest hits reflecting what`s happened to use over the last three years”.

With four years between albums. The Lumineers are excited to get back out on the road and, as Wesley puts it “connect with the new record and have people connect with it”
